About Engineers Club of Kansas City (ECKC)

The Engineers Club of Kansas City was founded in 1911 with the intention of holding dinners throughout the year to discuss various local problems related to Kansas City's development. Since then, the club has grown to promote the profession and encourage students in the Kansas City area to pursue engineering by providing scholarships to students studying engineering in the Kansas City metro area.

The Engineers Club has raised and provided over $1 million dollars in scholarships through its fundraisers, including Shrimp Bingo and an annual golf tournament.

— WHY JOIN US

Strengthening the Profession

Engineers club promotes our profession, providing luncheons to meet with fellow engineers in the Kansas City metro and learn about current engineering activities in the metro area.

We host the premiere engineering event, Shrimp Bingo, annually. This event has been held since 19XX and began raising money for scholarships in 2001? Thanks to Shrimp Bingo, over XXX engineering students from the Kansas City metro area have been awarded over $1 million in funds. Only with the support of the engineering community, have we been able to make such an impact to the future of engineering!
